School Integration in Jackson Heights and NYC

  • Jewish Center of Jackson Heights 37-06 77th St Jackson Heights, NY 11372 (map)

A public forum on city plans for middle and high school integration

New York City’s schools are deeply segregated by race, class, and language status. Communities across the city have started to demand integration, and for the first time since the 1970s, the Department of Education is poised to act.

Learn about the plan to integrate District 15 (Brooklyn) middle schools and the Specialized High Schools, and join a discussion on how we can integrate our schools in Jackson Heights.
