Informational Meeting:

Location: Community United Methodist Church
81-10 35th Ave, Jackson Heights, NY

The NY State English Language Arts (March 28, 29, & 30) and Math (May 2, 3 &4) tests do not count for student promotion, grades, or for most middle and high school admissions.
Young children will sit for exams that last more than 10 hours over two weeks.

Test preparation is the main reason why our children do not have the State required arts and gym instruction time and adequate time for recess. Testing itself completely disrupts school schedules.

In 2016, 22% of parents in New York State refused the test for their children. Their refusal is changing how State leaders view standardized tests and changing testing policies for the better.

School time should be used for teaching and learning, not testing and test prep.

Say NO. Do not participate. Withdraw your consent from actions that harm our kids.
